What's Happening at Werner

If you are interested in participating in Werner's School Site Council for the 2026-2027 School Year, we are currently taking nominations for voting seated members of the council. School Site Council is an team of Werner staff, families, community members and stakeholders, who help to advise decision making for our campus. These voices help to write our school plan, focus on student data and achievement and serve to guide decision making for the benefit of all of our Werner Stars. Your voice is important to this conversation, so we can advocate for the needs of our Stars and our campus. Our council bylaws allow us to have 5 voting seated parent members. All parent and community members are welcome to join as a member of Werner School Site Council, regardless of being  one of the voting seated members. If you are interested in becoming one of our voting seated members, please respond to this post nominating yourself. Nominations will be accepted until Wednesday, September 9th. After nominations close, a ballot will be sent out to the entire Werner Family Community to vote to fill our open seats. Thank you again for your support.  Our first School Site Council Meeting of the 2026-2027 school year will take place next week, on Thursday, September 10th at 2:30pm. We look forward to welcoming you to our team!

Strive for 5! Our new attendance initiative is here! We’re challenging our Werner Stars to aim for 5 or fewer absences this school year.  Students who reach the goal will be celebrated with fun monthly events, special prizes, and shout-outs! Let’s show up, shine bright, and make every school day count!
